Bonnie J. Cooper's Obituary
NEWARK: Bonnie J. Cooper, 80 of Newark passed away Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2012 at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Newark.
Mrs. Cooper was born April 14, 1932 in Zanesville to the late Jay and Elsie (Slyder) Bogard. A Methodist by faith, Mrs. Cooper was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Lash High School and Ohio University. She was a teacher for many years with Newark City Schools.
Survivors include her daughters, Cathie (Dave) Hamann of Batavia, Jennifer Hupp of Heath; a son, Gregory Cooper of Lancaster; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Cooper in 1994; and a grandchild.
A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cooper will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the NEWARK CHAPEL of VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
