Betty Lou Davis' Obituary
Betty Lou Davis, 77 of Newark entered eternal rest Sunday April 21, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. Betty was born June 15, 1946 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Oscar and Margaret Ann (Summers) Hawkins.
Betty worked for many years in the Food Service Department for Newark City Schools. A devoted Christian woman, Betty was a member of Crossroads Church.
Survivors include her children, Kandice Hairston of Newark, Juanita Daniel of Hilliard and James Hairston of Columbus; four grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
Friends and family may call 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by a repass luncheon.
