Sorry to hear about Bea's passing.
What a shock to learn of Bea's passing. We were classmates at Newark High School, always so friendly and nice to know. Lost touch but never completely forgotten. Look forward to seeing her again in the "sweet by-and-by." My sympathy to all her family and friends. Connie (Crego) Brown.
I've known Bea for many many years. Since I was in junior high school, and I'm - well - way way older than that now (I have grown kids and grandkids now). We were friends with her kids. Rode to school together, even dated her son, Jeff, for a while in high school (then he married my best friend. lol). The Pursley family has just been a constant in my life for what seems like forever. Bea was a wonderful woman. Always kind.
I am so sorry I wasn't able to come to the calling hours or funeral. Other family obligations had me otherwise committed, but I will always remember Bea with great fondness and great memories.
Love to all the family,
Mary (Sam) Holley
Bea was a sweet soul; she always had a smile on her face. We remember her also for her faithful service to various committees & outreach at St. John's UCC. She will be missed! Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.
Bea was such a nice person, I remember meeting her not to long after hiring into Owens. So sorry to hear about her passing away, but she's in a place where everyday is filled with joy and happiness no more pain, and trouble no more. Family you have my deepest sympathy remember all the good times that you had together, EARTH HAS NO SORROW THAT HEAVEN CANNOT HEAL
Such a loving lady. May God Bless you all through this troubled time. God has received a wonderful angel. Fly high my friend.
Sympathies to Bea's loving family. May her sweet smile live on in your memories and give you comfort during this difficult time.
She was a special woman who loved her family and her church. She's missed but singing in heaven.
