Barbara M. Noland's Obituary
Barbara M. Noland, 79, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday morning, April 27, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born July 14, 1941 in Newark, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Carl D. and Wilma D. (Bailey) Moran and was a 1959 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. Barbara loved caring for children and worked in the Day Care Centers of The Ohio Plastics Company of Frazeysburg and at The Longaberger Company. She was also a tax consultant and operated Noland’s Tax Service in Frazeysburg for 51 years and was the Clerk for the Village of Frazeysburg for 10 years. Barbara was a member of the Meadow View Church of Christ and the Ya Ya Sisterhood Card Club of Frazeysburg. She enjoyed watching Soap Operas and QVC, especially “In The Kitchen with David” and she loved collecting Longaberger Baskets. But Barbara’s greatest love and enjoyment was her family, her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
Surviving is her loving husband of 60 years, Harley R. Noland, whom she married September 24, 1960; two sons, Tony (Holly) Noland of Frazeysburg and Wes (Dedra Cameron) Noland of Hopewell, Ohio; two daughters Vickie (Michael) Ford of Zanesville, Ohio and Karen (James) Horvath of Quaker City, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Kyle (Stacey Morrison) Noland, Lindsey (Joe) Gracyk, Hannah (Austin Ridenour) Noland, Conor Noland, Ashley (David) Beaver, Nathan Noland, Lacey (Heath) Holbrook, Kaleb (Rachel) Rainer, Seth Ford, Kyra (Craig Shipman) Horvath and Wyatt Horvath; eleven great grandchildren, Chloe Noland, Lena Morrison, Landon Erwin, Sawyer Gracyk, Blade Beaver, Bentley Beaver, Faith Beaver, McKynlie Maurer, Adalynne Maurer, Hayden Maurer and Maxwell Rainer. Also surviving is one sister, Sandra (Roy) Noland of Dresden, Ohio; a step-sister, Kathryn Jadwin of Zanesville and her life-long best friend, Janet Baker of Frazeysburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a step-sister, Mildred Gray and two step-brothers, Paul Moran and Kenneth Moran.
Calling hours will be 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 1:30pm Monday, May 3, 2021 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
