Ardrey Noland Hardy's Obituary
NEWARK: A family memorial for Ardrey Noland Hardy, 89 of Newark will be held at a later date.
Ardrey passed away March 4, 2011 at Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born January 24, 1922 in Perry Township to the late Everett and Olive (Ardrey) Noland.
Ardrey attended Muskingum College and retired from Toboso Elementary as a third grade teacher. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Zanesville and Moundbuilders Chapter 16 of the American Ex-Prisoners of War. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed children, reading and her flower gardens.
Survived by her son, Jeffrey(Judy) Hardy; daughters, Hope Fairchild, DiAnne Hardy, Rockett (John) Morgan, Tracey Hardy; grandchildren, Rolynda (John) Tassan, Jason (Twilah) Fairchild, Josh (Renee) Fairchild, Amy (Gary) Martin, Abby Hector, and Christopher (Michele) Lawrence; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard “Bud” Hardy, whom she married July 4, 1941 and who passed away October 6, 2009.
