Anthony W. "Tony" Willis' Obituary
A memorial service for Anthony W. “Tony” Willis, 40 of Pataskala will be held Monday March 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Neal Skiles officiating.
Mr. Willis died Sunday March 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 12, 1972 in Newark to the late Harry Dean and Nancy (Claypool)Willis.
He was employed by Dynamics of Pataskala. He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of Farmers Lodge # 153 F & AM of Fredonia. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting. He was a fun, active person who was very friendly and liked spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda M. (Allen) Willis; step-children, Alexis Allen, Elizabeth Turner and Samuel Turner; sisters, Leslie Willis of Buckeye Lake, Kelly Barber of Buckeye Lake, Paula(Larry)Zimmerman of Columbus; twin brother, Bruce (Tiffany) Willis of Pataskala; best friend for life, Justin Bost of Pataskala; mother and father-in-law, Mary and Terry Reed of Newark; sister-in-law, Alison Allen of Newark; several nieces, nephews and a great niece and great nephew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Willis.
A visitation will be observed Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 1850 West Main Street. Masonic services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
The family requests memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses.
