Anna M. Updike's Obituary
Anna M. Updike, 70 of Newark died Sunday March 13, 2011 at the Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born May 24, 1940 in Newark to the late Jason and Daisy (Andrews) Grigsby.
Mrs. Updike is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert B. Updike, whom she married January 29, 1956; son Robert (Tammy) Updike, Jr. of Ft. Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Krystal (RJ) Ciferi, Robert (Keisa) Updike, III, Shannon (Danny) Albright all of Ft. Myers, Jason Montanez, Asia Montanez, Anita Montanez, Joseph Montanez all of Ocala, Florida; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter Grigsby of Heath, Arthur Grigsby, Newark; sisters, Bertha Stalling of West Mansfield, Alice Kidwell of Newark, Betty (Frank) Stemm of Newark; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Sue Updike; sisters, Edith Toothman, Ruth Coakley, Sandy Grigsby; brothers, Paul Grigsby and Jason Grigsby.
No calling hours or services will be held for Mrs. Updike.
