Alma M. Binckley's Obituary
A private graveside service for Alma M. Binckley, 91 of Newark will be at Poplar Forks Cemetery, Gratiot, OH with Pastor Chuck Horsley officiating.
Mrs. Binckley passed away January 21, 2021 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born March 21, 1929 in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Binckley was a devoted homemaker and mother. She attended Old Stone Church. She was an honorary member of Licking Valley FFA, she enjoyed attending the Hartford Fair with her late husband and later in life she loved playing slots.
Survivors include her daughters, Alline (Don) Morehouse, Virgie (Dan) Vaia, Mildred (Pete) Wilson, all of Newark; a son, Virgil (Sandra) Binckley of Newark; two sisters, Amy Shepler and Roma Grigsby, both of Frazeysburg; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Virgil Binckley; a grandson; and 8 brothers and sisters.
