Alice Faye Harper's Obituary
Alice Faye Harper, 74, of Frazeysburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday afternoon January 3, 2023 at OSU James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in Columbus, Ohio.
Born February 12, 1948 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio she is a daughter of the late Clayton and Delores (Harris) Helton. Faye worked many years as a compliance specialist for Knoll Group Management. She had a passion for preaching and spent the last ten years as the pastor for Christian Fellowship of Nashport Church. Faye enjoyed music, especially Elvis, and OSU football. Her greatest joys were her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving is a daughter, Diane (Steve) Sellers of Grove City; son, Donald (Melissa) Harper, Sr. of Frazeysburg; granddaughters, Michelle (Neal) Sayatovich and Nicole Harper; grandsons, Donald (Jennifer) Harper, Jr. and Ryan (Rin) Harper; great grandsons, Chase Harper and Caleb Harper; brother Richard (Mary) Helton; sister Patricia (Robert) Weber and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald E. Harper whom she married September 2, 1967 and who died May 2, 2019.
Friends may call from 10:00am to 11:00am Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Kelly Treat officiating.
A private family burial will take place in East View Cemetery, Centerburg, Ohio.
