Legacy
Beyond a service, we're committed to helping families create lasting tributes that transcend generations.
The origins of our firm can be traced back to 1902 when Daniel Brice Baughman founded Baughman Funeral Home. In 2003, David Chute joined Carl Vensil and Ray Orr to open a state-of-the-art funeral home on Newark’s west side. For the past 23 years we have endeavored to serve the Newark and Licking County community with excellence. Through our immaculate facilities, unique tribute options and exceptional staff we strive to exceed expectations. Today, the Chute family continues to operate the funeral home ever mindful of the many contributions and the years of dedicated service by our predecessors.
